An off-grid river-side studio
Established in 2024, The Babe Cave Pottery Studio is a small river-side studio nestled at the base of Mt. Griffin in Malakwa, British Columbia. Operating primarily on Solar power and back-up generator, the Babe Cave works harmoniously with its natural surroundings. The Studio is a beautifully diverse space for creativity, which focuses not only on ceramics but also leather works, epoxy resin crafts and more. We are inspired by BC’s vast and rugged wilderness and strive to comprise its grandeur in every piece we make.

Most of the pottery made here at the studio is wheel thrown, however, some projects have been slab built, coil built or a combination of varying techniques. We are open to discussing custom orders and will do our very best to collaborate with you to create signature pieces for you to enjoy for years to come.
Our works are sold online, on-site at the studio, through various markets and can also be found at such retail locations as D Dutchmen Dairy in Sicamous, BC.
We are very excited to announce that we will also be at the Revelstoke Farm and Craft Market this 2025 season, so come see us every Saturday from 10am-2pm starting in May!
The studio is located at the first kilometer marker down the old Malakwa dump rd. otherwise known as the South Eagle Forest Service Road. in Malakwa, BC. Just off of the oxbow frontage road, a few km east of the Malakwa Supermarket. Go for an adventure!
